Welcome to the TEL technology-enhanced research (TER) wiki, an activity of the ESRC TEL Programme's TER Thematic Strand! This repository of resources is designed to support colleagues who are conducting e-learning research or evaluating digital technologies in teaching and learning.
Browsing the resources might trigger ideas for enhancing and innovating your TEL research. The hope is that researchers will discover useful resources and also contribute and share new ones with their colleagues. Use this Wiki to share resources and ideas with your TEL colleagues and to grow the resource for the benefit of all.
Please feel free to register and contribute new records to our databases. Check the instruction page for more details.
The type of resources in the repository include journal papers, book chapters, software, websites, presentation slides and other media. They are organised under five research phases. The phases are reflected in the five labels of the main menu shown in the header of this site. 'Research topics' presents the first phase where we introduce resources for planning and early research stages. 'System design' represents the second phase of research which in the TEL context often concerns system implementation. The third phase 'Data collection' contains resources regarding data collection. The fourth research phase is 'Data analysis'. The fifth phase, 'Outputs', collates resources on the topics of dissemination and archiving data.
